Our History
The Graphix Works was founded in 1986 as a sole proprietorship producing small marketing projects for local businesses. Today, more than 25 years later, we’re a well established team of individuals that provide an extensive list of services to companies throughout St.Catharines, the Niagara Region and beyond.

Peter Spanyi - President
As owner of The Graphix Works since 1986, Peter has a sound understanding of his clients' needs. He works closely with his clients to ensure their needs are satisfied. As a business owner and self taught designer of 25+ years, Peter creates a top notch liaison between the client and his team of experts.
Terry Schwartz - Designer
Terry is the senior designer of The Graphix Works, having worked with the firm on a full-time and contract basis for over 15 years. The knowledge gained through the thousands of projects he has completed translates to being a competent expert, totally capable of fulfilling the needs of the company's wide range of clients. Terry brings extensive design skills and a well established knowledge of web development to the table.
James Turpin - Website Designer
James is our resident web guru. He joined The Graphix Works team to handle the growing web development needs of our client base. As a graduate of the Niagara College New Media Web program, James brings youth and innovation to our growing team of specialists. Sound web design skills, a burning desire to integrate social networking into our product offering and a well established knowledge of HTML/CSS is what he brings to the table.
Susan Masterson - Copywriter & Market Research
Susan has worked with Peter for several years on a variety of projects. Her skills and knowledge can be implemented to assure our clients of work that is not only graphically appealing but also grammatically correct. As a consulting expert Susan is not only skilled in copy development but also in market research providing clients with the development of marketing plans when needed.
Carolyn Lortie - Administrative Assistant
Carolyn has been with our team since 2008 and has proven her skill set to be invaluable. She is an expert proofreader and excels at information research. She has also adapted herself very quickly to aid in production coordination of various print related projects.
